A multiple choice section consists of a question and a number of alternative possible answers. The candidate answers by choosing the correct alternative.


When you're in the tab Itembank you can create sections. Click on Create new section.


Choose Multiple choice then click Create section.


Section name: Write the name of the item.

Instructions: Write the instructions of the item. E.g "Read the question and answer by clicking at the right answer."

Section text: This is often a text or dialogue the candidates should read and answer questions about.

Language: Make sure you use correct language. Change by using the drop down menu.  

Section info: Information about the section. 

Additional files: Sound, video or image files are uplaoded in the section. In Additional files you can upload other files like a PDF you want the candidate to download. 

Remember to Save.


Let's take a closer look at the item itself. 

Example item: Tick the box it the item is an example item

Question: Write the question. 

Alternative: Write the alternatives. Tick the box for the right alternative.


You can change the number of alternatives. To add an alternative click on Add alternative. To remove an alterrnative click on the X. 

You can also add a new item to the same section text. Click Add new item.


To make it easier to make test set ups you can tag each item.
